What RTP Means

RTP is the theoretical percentage of all money wagered on a game that gets paid back to players, calculated over a very large number of rounds — often millions. A game with 96% RTP keeps 4% of all wagered money on average over that long run.

What It Doesn't Tell You

RTP says nothing about what happens in your next ten spins, or even your next hundred. Short-term results can swing well above or below the RTP figure in either direction. It's a long-run statistical average, not a promise about any individual session.

How to Use It

Comparing RTP figures between similar games can help you understand which one keeps a larger share of wagered money over time, all else being equal. It's one useful data point among several — alongside volatility, minimum bet size, and how much you're comfortable spending — not a signal to bet more.
